Which is fine because we have a system set up for that very thing. This year, there are a record 35 bowls. Thirty-five! (The Pinstripe Bowl, at Yankee Stadium, is the newest, but I'm fond of the Beef O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg, myself.) There are 120 Division I-? teams; 70 will be rewarded at the end of the season. Some will be disappointed they didn't go to better bowls. Some will be happy they ended up in a warmer climate than Detroit. But 58.333 percent will do something. See?
