As I pass around the league, I see great play after great play, night after night, many of them gamesavers that barely get noticed. Sure, you see web gems on ESPN's Baseball Tonight and Gold Glove awards are handed out annually. But the web gems are quickly forgotten, and any baseball man knows that Gold Gloves are all about reputations and how many home runs a player hits. When you see a guy hit .240 and win a Gold Glove, that's when you know he's a heck of a defensive player.
